Working with Newent Community Centre and Glebe Chapel, Eleven10 Architecture helped to create revised, refresh accessible meeting and office spaces for the church and local community.

Construction was undertaken by a local Gloucester firm, EG Carter, who have provided the Client with a great finished project.

The basement extension and complete refurbishment of a mews residence in Belgravia, London.

The project involved a basement extension below the existing building between its neighbors, complete strip-out and re-planning of the layout of the house.

New access to the roof terrace was implemented with the use of a mechanical roof light.

Our brief was to provide a single span ‘rectangular shed space’ enabling the client to run a variety of activities, in partnership with other agencies.

Designed to serve the needs of both young and old, it will enrich the wider community and create a home for their church.

The new building provides a large auditorium for worship, community gatherings, local concerts, exhibitions and larger conferences or training events, etc. as well as space for Children’s and Youth work, a coffee area and additional rooms for community projects such as CAP, Foodbank, Fare Share, Furniture Recycling, Menshed, etc.

The proposed relocation of New Life Church from Salvington Road to the corner of Fulbeck Way provides a high quality strategic development and supporting infrastructure, forming an important contemporary landmark building that contributes to the urban expansion and regeneration of the surrounding area.

The proposed development comprises the creation of a place of worship and support facilities with associated parking, pedestrian access and landscaping provision.

 Contract sum =  £3.7M.

The redevelopment of the Grade II* listed building (c. 1810) in Church Square has been designed for Taunton Vineyard Church in order to develop a unique Compassion and Community Centre in the heart of Taunton.

The scheme opens up part of the central courtyard and will allow public access to the historic archways within the original coach yard area (currently obscured), which are considered to be of significant historic benefit.

This design will demonstrate how the combination of old and new can enhance the environment bringing much-needed regeneration to the locality.

Following years of preparation together with the brilliant management team of Elphicks, spearheaded by the commercial director, Alan Bushnell, the second stage of works on Elphicks Department store started in June’18.

Lanchester Court is located on the north side of Seymour Street. Immediately to the west of the site is the Bayswater Conservation Area boundary and a terrace of Grade II listed buildings.

Planning permission was granted for alterations to the main entrance including the removal of a canopy, replacement of the doors, alterations to the railings and the replacement of the external paving.

The works are considered to enhance the character and appearance of the building through removing unsympathetic elements, which have historically been introduced. The proportions of the principle entrance will be restored and fully appreciated.
